AllKiosk developed a customized PayCenter kiosk, composed of hardware and software, for a leading Arizona utility that enabled the utility’s customers to:
-Pay their electric and irrigation bills.
-Prepay for power using cash or electronic checks
The PayCenter is a direct replacement to an existing design that was not robust (less than 88 percent up-time) and that did not meet all of the customer’s requirements.
The resulting design has been in service for 3 years, and has proven to be easily maintainable and reliable, with uptime of more than 99 percent.
Ninety PayCenter kiosks have been fielded to date, each with nine major components. It is estimated that these units have had close to 1 million hours of operation.
This PayCenter attracts a steady stream of customers who
use the system to pay and pre-pay their bills.
